- Allianz Comprehensive Motor Insurance covers your vehicle, plus damage you cause to other people’s vehicles or property.
- Allianz Third Party Property Damage Motor Insurance helps cover the cost of accidentally damaging someone else’s vehicle or property. Damage to your own vehicle isn’t covered.
Allianz Comprehensive Motor Insurance provides you with cover for accidental damage to or theft of your vehicle as well as damage you cause to other people's vehicles or property while using your vehicle. Allianz Third Party Property Damage Insurance doesn’t provide any cover for your own vehicle. It only covers your liability to pay compensation for damage you cause to other people’s vehicles or property, while using your vehicle.
Cover for damaged windscreens is provided by Allianz Comprehensive Motor Insurance, subject to the payment of any applicable excess shown in your policy documentation. You have the option to pay extra to remove the basic excess for windscreen only claims.
An excess is the amount you’ll need to pay towards the cost of a claim. All applicable excesses for Allianz Comprehensive or Third Party Property Damage Motor Insurance are shown in your policy schedule. If you or the driver of your vehicle are involved in an accident that’s not your fault and you can provide us with the responsible party’s details, you may not have to pay an excess.

- Minimum premiums may apply. Any discounts and entitlements may be subject to rounding and only apply to the extent any minimum premium isn’t reached. If you’re eligible for more than one, Allianz will also apply each of them in a predetermined order to the premium (excluding taxes and government changes) as reduced by any prior applied discounts and entitlements. Discounts may not be applied to the premium for optional covers.
- The online discount applies when you quote and buy a new Comprehensive Motor Insurance policy online only. Any online discounts offered are applied to Allianz’s standard rates, excluding optional covers, and are for the first year’s premium only, unless otherwise stated. Promotional or other discounts may apply from time to time for customers who apply for insurance using other methods.
- Premiums payable by instalments may be subject to minor adjustments (upwards or downwards) due to rounding and financial institution transaction fees may apply.
- Allianz will extend your rental car or daily travel allowance period to the extent that Allianz caused or contributed to the delay in repairing your vehicle.
