How to enter

To enter the competition, buy, renew or simply hold any of the following Allianz policies by 31 July 2025*. The winners will be announced 27 August 2025 by phone and in writing. 

Home Insurance

Home and Contents Insurance

Covers loss or damage to both your home building and home contents. 

Contents Insurance 

Covers loss or damage to your contents at home, from furniture to clothes.

Building Insurance

Cover your building against loss or damage including fires, storms and floods1. 

Renters Insurance 

Covers your belongings kept at your rented home, from furniture to electronics.

Motor Insurance

Comprehensive Motor Insurance

Cover for your car, plus damage you cause to other people's cars or property. 

Third Party Property Damage

Helps cover the cost of accidentally damaging someone else's car or property.

Frequently asked questions

All Australian residents aged 18 years and over who hold an eligible policy during the promotion period, and who maintain it for 12 months. Exclusions include:

  • South Australian residents
  • Landlord customers
  • Compulsory Third Party (CTP) customers
  • Fleet provider customers

If you’re an existing customer and hold an eligible policy between 1 May and 31 July 2025, you’ll automatically be entered into the competition.

If you already hold an existing policy but are due to renew your policy between 1 May and 31 July 2025, you’ll be entered into the competition as a renewing customer once your policy is renewed. 

Yes. Each eligible policy bought, held, or renewed between 1 May and 31 July 2025, counts as one entry into the draw, with multiple eligible policies counting as multiple entries.
The prize will be deposited in the winner’s account in 12 equal monthly instalments. If the winner’s eligible policy is cancelled during the 12-month policy period, their entitlement to the prize will cease and they’ll not receive any further payments. They will not be required to return any funds received by that point.

  1. 72-hour exclusion period may apply 

We may not provide cover for any loss of or damage to your property caused by cyclone, flood, flood water combined with run-off and/or rainwater, grassfires and bushfires during the first 72 hours after you first purchase a policy or increase your cover under an existing policy. Refer to the PDS for when exclusion periods apply.
